I started Your Way Matters because I saw firsthand how much of a difference truly compassionate care can make. When a member of my own family needed support, I witnessed both excellent care and care that simply didn’t meet the standards every person deserves.
It opened my eyes to how vulnerable people can feel when they’re relying on others, and I knew I wanted to be part of raising those standards.
Working in care confirmed what I already believed – small acts of kindness, respect and dignity can have the biggest impact on someone’s quality of life.
Unfortunately, I also saw occasions where people weren’t treated with the compassion they deserved. Speaking up wasn’t always enough, and eventually I realised that if I wanted to make a real difference, I needed to do things differently.
That’s why I created Your Way Matters.

We are Enhanced DBS checked and Fully Insured.
We undertake regular training to keep up to date with regulations and to improve our service.
We are a Monmouthshire County Council-registered micro care provider.
